Since November 2023, we have been consulting on whether we need to make changes to standing charges.

We are now looking to make time-limited changes to the Standard licence conditions to make sure energy suppliers offer at least one lower standing charge tariff to their customers.

We expect the new tariffs to be introduced from early next year.
