In this section, we explain our reasons for reviewing energy system costs, and how we can share them fairly. We explain how the costs are currently collected and allocated. 

Details

Because we are transitioning to net zero, costs will change. At the moment, consumers pay for the costs of capital improvements through our bills, as well as the cost of supplying gas and electricity. 

We want to look at alternative methods of recovering these costs. Whilst consumers will still contribute, we need to look at the ways the different kinds of costs are collected.
